Tourist Resort, Saudi Arabia

This project was completed in collaboration with Canadian company Zoobox.

With this incredibly unique project, the clients called for a crocus-flower shaped resort in the Arabian Peninsula. The petals form luxurious individual pod rooms for guests that offer privacy for everyone. The petal stems fall gracefully into a circular pool of water, a symbol of sustenance, while also creating a staggered sheltered pathway. The heart of the flower acts as a reception and function area to welcome guests. The gold sheath cladding represents the wealth of the region and their forward progression
