Featured Ruby Architectural Projects - Commercial
Tourist Resort in Saudi Arabia
This project was completed in collaboration with Canadian company Zoobox. With this incredibly unique project, the clients called for a crocus-flower shaped resort in the Arabian Peninsula. The petals form luxurious individual pod rooms for guests that offer privacy for everyone. The petal stems fall gracefully into a circular pool of water, a symbol of sustenance, while also creating a staggered sheltered pathway. The heart of the flower acts as a reception and function area to welcome guests. The gold sheath cladding represents the wealth of the region and their forward progression
Outdoor Living Concept, West of Ireland
This project was completed in collaboration with Canadian company Zoobox. In another very unique project, we aimed to create self-contained living areas suitable for recreation. They offer large, panoramic, sliding windows to enable to user to open out their home to the outdoors. The pods are decorated contemporarily and are fully equipped with all things you might need for a retreat. The use of space is cleverly designed so as that even the smallest of units feel large in size
Shadow Survey in Phibsborough, Co. Dublin
In this project we were tasked with creating an accurate representation of how the sunlight of the surrounding areas would be affected by the shadow of a new high rise development. Working in conjunction with Dublin’s Darmody Architecture, we were able to determine how their building’s design would have an impact on the streets below, a crucial aspect of any planning application.
New Entrances Concepts, Ballymount Industrial Estate
In this project we aimed to overhaul the Ballymount Industrial Estate brand and road network. The idea was to make the roads more user friendly and accessible and increase the brand recognition. We redesigned the entrances and created a new logo for the brand. The result is a far more captivating entrance and roads that have a clear and concise layout.
Café Concepts in West Co. Dublin
As part of our design services, we were tasked with designing the layout of a cafe in Dublin. We formulated ideas on how best the flow of a cafe would work, and what overall theme would be needed. The final urban industrial look, while extremely modern, also offers a great customer experience and ease of use.
Stables In Co Meath
This unique project aimed to create a state of the art horse livery facility. Plenty of factors needed to be taken into account for this project. The clients called for enclosed open spaces to keep the horses. An effective draining system needed to be installed within the stable and there needed to be access available to all horses easily, while keeping them secure. A large car-park also needed to be installed to facilitate visitors in cars as well as horseboxes and large farm machinery.
